In the architecture and construction industry, “As-Built” refers to a drawing that shows the existing dimensions and conditions of a building, space, or area. As-Built drawings show the building as it currently is, and can then be produced as a 2D or 3D model. These drawings then give a homeowner or contractor a starting point to modify the existing structure.
